Websites With A Purpose
Mobile-Friendly
What is responsive design anyway? In short, it’s crafting a website to be viewable across a wide range of devices, from desktop computer monitors, to mobile phones and tablets. All of our web designs are 100% mobile-friendly. Tested on a myriad of screen sizes, our themes and designs are compatible with every single mobile device on the planet. A responsive design will allow your message and brand to be received the way you intend it to be. Responsive web designs are not just a trend, they are essential if you want your site to load properly and in a timely manner. From smaller handheld devices in rural areas to the biggest desktops on blazing-fast WiFi networks, we make sure your website is accessible and looks superb.
Designing a website that looks good, and easy to use at the same time, is a hard and rewarding task that all designers need to learn. Most, if not all of the mistakes made in web development and design can be eliminated by simply thinking like a potential customer would think.
Customer Focused
A good web design agency doesn’t focus on the same formula from company to company. Each business has its own unique needs. At DLB, we listen. Our sole focus isn’t just designing great looking websites, we are more interested in creating an online solution for your business that drives revenue. You will be hard-pressed to find another agency that approaches your project from this angle. We take time to learn more about your business, your customers, and goals so that the final product is custom made just for you.
Regardless of your business size, we approach every partnership with customer service as our number one goal. Not only can we host your new website, DLB can provide backups, updates, and help with your marketing strategies. We want our customers to be able to sit back and focus on the important stuff… driving growth to their business.
WordPress
WordPress lets us create an experience that’s easy to update and represents your brand beautifully. WordPress is a content management system, or CMS, which ensures that your new website is easily scalable. You can add content, functionality, or change imagery down the road with no problems. Providing you an easy way to edit & update your website is critical for success in today’s modern world.
Let’s face it, WordPress is the best Content Management System in the world, and search engines like Google dig it.
The Design Process
1. BRAINSTORM
Let’s talk about what you are trying to achieve
Audience: Who are we trying to reach and what’s the overall message?
Competition: What others in your industry are currently using and why it’s working (or not)
What goals do you have in mind for this project, short and long-term?
Custom tailor your project from the beginning so that you know what works and why. Your audience is most important from the beginning.
2. PLAN
These simple but vital steps will allow the design to effectively communicate to your users by simply saying “You’ve come to the right place”.
3. DEVELOP
Putting the message together. This is where we take the design plan and turn it into an actual website. The layouts are built and installed, the graphics are integrated, copy & content is put into place, and the design becomes functional.
This step usually takes place on a development server where it will be tested before launch. From here, the overall user experience can be gauged, and we can begin to tweak the final look and performance of the site to improve usability before releasing it to the public.
4. LAUNCH
Launch week. The website will be uploaded to the server and go live. During the week we will submit the site to search engines and make any last-minute additions. Content Management Systems need attention, updates, and maintenance.
Our team can provide whatever support is needed to keep things running smoothly. If you decide to choose to host your website with DLB, we provide daily backups, updates, and guarantee an uptime of 99.9%. We also provide all of our clients with a free SSL certificate.
